Thinking of Her

I think of her often. Here is the photo I have on my desktop. I think it's my favorite right now.

Missing her and wondering what life will be like when she is here. Looking forward to getting to know her better, to bonding, to becoming a big, happy, busy family.

Two more weeks and a few sleeps away from bringing her home. There isn't much space in our house for her but I've carved a corner of our bedroom as her space for now. We will move a "smaller" sized crib in our master bedroom and put some pink sheets on the little crib mattress. I have a small stack of adorable clothes and bows. We're ready, can we get her now?

  3. It will be very soon!!! It's going to be fun to see pink showing up in places that have been dominated by blue for so long! I love that picture too. She is just precious!

  4. Pretty soon that crib will be filled! I can't wait :-)

BTW, did you get one of those mini-cribs? We're looking at those since Darya's bedroom isn't very big and we don't want to take the daybed out that's in there.

Also, how did you know what size clothes to bring with you? Did you guess?

  5. The waiting must be the hardest. June will bring two new babies into our little world... Sofia and her buddy... "Saint Farmer" as Lisa dubbed him :-) Yay for June!

  7. Your post just convinced me we do have room for precious little Anna at Sophia's orphanage. I was worried about getting approval with so little space for her in our home. The love in our hearts is big enough and I keep her picture close by already. With any luck, hubby and I will start our journey this week. Don't know where the money will come from but I think God has a plan. . . . P.S. If I win the lottery, I am bringing her mom home too!!!

  15. Hi there,
I just bought 2 of your wristbands. One for my 7 year old who has DS and one for my not so "typical" teenager. They will be honored to support you on your journey. God bless!
